Meet the Team

Jessica Butcher, Managing DirectorJessica Butcher, Managing Director, Integritour
Jessica has worked with and within online and travel start-ups for the last 10 years in London, UK.   See about us for more on the story of how she came to Kenya and came up with the idea and vision for Integritour.
Interests: travel (no, really..?!), good food, good wine, shopping, wedding planning (this year) and (worryingly, as I get older), Sundays wandering around British stately homes..
Favourite Integritour experience: Bird Island off Rusinga and Mfangano islands. Truly awesome to shut off the motor and watch 10s or 1000s of nesting birds swarming around the rocks whilst the monitor lizards prowl the banks below them.
Proudest (if gross-est) Integritour experience:  having to kill the chicken for dinner when over-nighting in a local homestead on ‘Day in the Life of a Luo Village’.

Kenneth Cheruiyot, Operations Manager Kenneth Cheruiyot, Operations Manager, Integritour
Ken has a vast experience in the tourism industry spanning over 10 years, he is a holder of Diploma in Tourism from Kenya Utalii College and also holds an IATA/UFTAA Diploma ( Montreal – Canada). Kenneth manages the day-to-day running of our Kisumu office.
Interests:  Keen adventurer with a special interest in sports expeditions like white-water rafting and cultural experiences –  travelling to make new friends.  I’m also a birding  enthusiast.
Favourite Integritour experience: Night fishing expedition with local residents to observe how small “omena” fish are caught at night using beautiful floating lanterns- a truly awesome experience.
Proudest Integritour experience: Proud to join the first responsible tour company in western Kenya…and to entice more people to travel to  western  where there is so much to see and such incredible tourism potential yet to be exploited.

Chris Justus Ochieng, Sales & Key Account Manager Chris Justus Ochieng, Sales & Key Account Manager, Integritour
Chris is a holder of Bachelor Degree in Commerce (Finance) with a soft spot for business development and capital budgeting.  He has worked with the leading Insurance Provider, Pan Africa Life –  as a Financial Advisor and also in the community with local NGO, Ogra Foundation.  Chris manages Integritour’s key client accounts.
Interests: I love developing ideas, writing poems and listening to music.
Favourite Integritour experience: Traditional Industry tour. When we went to the Kisii Soap stone factory, I was given a choice of a small gift and I took a plate decorated with some girl’s name with a pink heart in it.  It was the topic of conversation all the way back to town…
Proudest Integritour experience: Monkey Rock, phew, even after being there five times and on three occasions being rained on, I forgot to take a rain coat or umbrella. The storm descended on us right oat the top of Monkey Rock. We got lost twice, and practically slid down the mountain (but we’ve since improved the route!)

Patricia Ouko, Customer Service Executive.
Patricia Ouko, Customer Service Executive, IntegritourAn entrepreneur by training, intends to study tourism at Kenya Utalii College once the college is established in Kisumu. Patricia is the smiling, welcoming face of Integritour!
Interests: Travelling, making friends, shopping.
Favorite Integritour experience: Day Break on Lake Victoria. I love the sunrise, watching the birds in the morning and the hippos in the lake, they are scary but lovely.
Most Scary Integritour experience: I kayaked on Lake Victoria and I can’t swim

The core office team above is supported by a large team of knowledgeable guides (including specialists in ornithology and NGO community work) and experienced, trustworthy drivers – who conduct the day-to-day tours.
